I am sure they were not excited to start the day off mopping up my oil. When i went to apologize to them for the mess they were very appreciative and glad it happened there instead of down track. Props out to the d3 staff for the professionalism and hard work all weekend.

Sure they did not like it but understand you had a diaper and did not do it on purpose. You did not drive all way down the track. The clean up was limited to that area.

I am surprised at how many people refuse to put a diaper on their car. I think it may be one of most important safety gear you can put on. If you lose a motor at the finish line you could crash your car and get hurt or killed. A diaper would most likely hold enough oil to get car slowed and over off the track. Sure a helmet or HANS may save your life in a crash but a Diaper may save you from having that crash in the first place.

I personally will not drive a car on the track that does not have a diaper but as we all know and see they do not work 100% of the time. My diaper does not cover top of filter good, I try to pull it up higher on that side and leave it at that.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
