Just got new laptop and can not get this stupid accent color crap off it. Everything has weird a$$ green color shading.

Anyone know how to change this crap, Tried googling it and everything comes up ends up related to some other color change.

Did you right click on the screen and go to Personalize?

yes.Got nowhere with making changes.

Since you replied. I was going to stop by last week at Indy, just never got chance with new car and new learning curve on it.

Back to color thing the side bars for scrolling arfe even light purple. Its got to go driving me up wall.

Hmmm. Looks to hidden in Windows 10. Changing scroll bar color. Appears a work around is to inject a new RGB/Html color code into the registry. I have never come across this ever but never had a request either. Have to research further We talking screen and vertical scroll bar or just the scroll bar.I have some test boxes here.

Let me Test and Tune.I found URL that has millions of RGB codes that are available free.

Further reading, this seems to be a complaint with the colors of choice.. There has to be a program (EXE) out there that is of an easier
foundation. Somewhere.......

Last i read on Shell with 10, they put a brick on it. I could be wrong tho. This is what i pulled up (Older) I have a couple of 10 boxes, i can try. No updates have been installed tho. Disabled....

and hit enter. This will give me the exact version of 10. I want to do a little research. There has been several updates on 10. Various versions. Build codes with dates. It may have something to do with "Aero Peek" in win 10 with the actual display OR Aero Glass.

after screwing with this thing most of day I am thinking its just screwed up and not a program issue.

You have some serious issues going on with your computer for sure then. Every time slip he posts shows up yellow, faded, and at least 15 years old on my screen.

This sounds more like a hardware issue to me. Old VGA plug in monitors would act like that when there was a bad connection on one of the pins or a wire was broken. I’d exchange it.

After 30 minutes on [hone with Sam TD3660 .He came to conclusion it must be hardware instead of software. Seems there are others with same or similar issue . He was thinking software too and seems my computer screwing up bugged him most of the day,

It has warranty and I am going to put it to work. A day wasted is enough. Only reason I bought one with windows ten is one of the racepak downloads' had said windows ten required. Then I found same deal that said 98 or newer. Only needed it for someone elses car I work on,

But, you said it’s new right? Take it back and exchange for another one. It will be much easier doing it that way compared to going through the warranty.

well getting new one is what I meant by it has warnaty ,not getting it repaired

If all goes well on the exchange deal, that would be great. Prior to the swap deal, remove ANY and All programs that "YOU" have installed of an identifying nature. Pending on the retailer and their support nature, they may want to perform a remote repair first.. See what happens here first.
