I know this won't go over too well here, but has anyone used the Nissan Titan with the 5.6 gas engine for towing? I have always been a Chevy buyer, but I am not impressed with the quality. Where I tow there are lots of hills. thanks

Another vote for Tundra. most of them built in Texas using American parts and labor. My Toyota has over 350k on in with original drive train and I would still tow anywhere.

The auto industry has to be the original global industry. If you think Ford or Govt. Motors has Americas best interest at heart you are dreaming. It's profit when ever and where ever. I buy what I consider the best vehicle I want at the time I'm purchasing.

Untill they build a real truck, 2500 or 3500 i'll stick with one of the big three.

Which is better, a US car manufacturer that builds them in other countries or a foreign manufacturers that invests here and supports american workers and their families?

I have to say after selling my 07 5.9 2500 Ram and going to a 17 Ram with a Hemi and 3.92 gear I am pretty impressed with the towing ability. I added airbags and bump stops.

^^^^^^^^^^ X2 , I have a 2011 1500 Hemi /3.92/ with 17” e-rated tires and towed Fancy Gap without any problems. Might be going that way again in 2 weeks if the weather cooperates.

Towed 980 miles in 17 hrs this past Sunday and Rams rear coil springs are very smooth riding loaded or unloaded

I went to E rated also. How much are you towing? and are you going to Piedmont? That's my plan depending on weather and if my buddy is going.
