Anyone know more about this accident?

BuckyAnyone know more about this accident?
Burt,
I think some opinions based upon the events from recent years are so strong that those opinions get applied to everything. And some folks are still terribly upset about the recent election, and resent those on the winning side…and will never accept successes of this administration going forward. It has really wrecked some really great websites and great facebook groups.
We man not ever know the complete story on this one. It has been said a track official may have been injured in the incident and here it has been said a medical issue may have caused the incident and ultimately cost her her life. Sad deal all around.

High blood pressure and stroke of course are not normal for a child. But there are all sorts of of children with unusual health issues and there have been forever. Thus the development of children’s hospitals generations ago. Unfair maybe: but the onus in on you to prove what it specifically was caused by if you are going to make a specific claim. But instead you insist everyone else to “tell you what it was”. Think about how odd that insistence is in this case.
For certain I have some strong feelings about the vaccine requirements we were forced with. And I have a healthy respect for other views outside of mainstream pharmaceutical. But I’m not going to suggest that issues that have been around for generations are now all because of the jab by default.

ferndaleflyerHope I don't get lynched for this question. What is the NHRA minimum age to drive a JR and aren't there different age breaks for how fast they can go?

I haven't seen a NHRA rulebook in years, but, in IHRA the ages are Trainee: age 5 only, Youth age 6-7 only, Novice age 7-0 only, Advanced age 10-12, Master age 12-17, Elite age 16-17.
There are ET restrictions for each age group.

SlyFoxI'm guessing the track and the sanctioning body would much prefer this to be a stroke or seizure event. If not, somebody is on the hook for allowing an unqualified driver and/or unsafe car to enter the event.
I'm also guessing that more 7-yr-olds die from lightning strikes each year than from strokes or seizures.

I agree with all of that and it is a tragedy no matter how it happened.

diceman1530You can make single passes at 5 years old. With a license.
You have to have a physical be for attempting to obtain a license.
You have to make passes starting with 60'
and progressing from there.
Track personal has to observe and approve of the progress.
Just went through the process with my Grandson last fall.

wideopen231Ban someone for stating opinion while not insulting others? Maybe banned those who say real race cars do not have doors? So maybe banned folks who say he should be banned for exercising his 1st amendment right? I mean at what point of stupid do you call too much?
I did not get jabbed and not going to, but still eat meat and now every meal has meat on carnivore diet.
Truly sad event anytime a child dies regardless the reason. Which is real take away from op.

CURTIS REEDI never advocated a ban but he has no 1st amendment rights here. It's a private forum. Also the 1st amendment actually stops Congress from making laws abridging free speech. It doesn't actually say it protects individuals from saying anything they want with no repercussions but that is basically what it has mutated into.
The 2 people who have commented on what I said about anti-vax people being the new vegans seem to have missed the actual point of it.

GoobLots of medical situations can be classified as "a stroke"......and children certainly have their share of heart and vascular defects available. Aneurysms, especially in the brain, heart valve defects, arythmea, prolapsed arteries, pulmonary embolisms, etc., etc.
Low blood sugar resulting in passing out?
I hope the accurate determination comes out, but I highly doubt it was a safety defect or track operation failure.
At any rate, it is HELL for that family and everyone at the track, and I'll actually pray for them.

Interestingly enough, they probably die from lightning strike more often that from anything related to jr dragster racing

BD104XCondolences to the family. I wish the NHRA would publish a factual account after they investigate any fatal collision just so others can learn from it and maybe address something they never thought of. They say the rule book is written it blood - although the secrecy is probably from a legal liability standpoint, you lose out on hundreds of racers inspecting their cars for something that never occurred to them might fail or maybe a parent reviewing an emergency plan with their own kid.

wideopen231There is a you tube video on it may answer some of your questions.
Funny to see some say others did not get point while not getting point of someone else post. In same post , It is like talking to your wife about saving money buying a part for race car that cost less and how much money you saved.

If it was a stroke or heart attack I bet you she had the Covid vaccine....
Are you ok?
I am just fine, I refused to get the vaccine.

This is what I have been saying all along. If people die from something we need to know exactly what happened and why so we may prevent it from happening in the future. We need to know all of the risks even if they are rare.
I would not just get in a car and race it with out checking it over for things I feel are safety critical. Check for cracks in welds in front suspension, Engine diaper, seat belts etc. I do some research and checking on it before I trust my life with it. We all do yet we are supposed to blindly trust our lives with Government and big Pharma on vaccine? We know they lied about origin of the disease they created. They lied about how it got out. They lied about masks, they lied about if you get the vaccine you can not catch it again, they lied about many things but trust them now and do not question them.
And very same deal with NHRA and the Vaccine, we are not being told everything for liability reasons.
I to wish the NHRA would put out a factual account of all fatalities so we can learn from them before we take that risk. Same thing for Vaccine. And we have been lied to about the safety of the vaccine.
I apologize if it offends someone to ask why a 7 year old could possibly die from High Blood Pressure or Stroke at that age. Something is wrong even if we are not allowed to talk about it or ask.
I AM ASKING IN HOPES OF SAVING SOME OTHER CHILD FROM THIS HAPPENING TO. Same reason I want to know what happened when any racer loses their life.
Is there an unwritten rule that you can ask what happened in a racer crash but not if it was due to vaccine? Do we need a new rule?
Actually kidney disease and medications for other childhood onset illnesses can also elevate blood pressure in children. While clotting has been known to to be a short term side effect of the COVID vaccine in particular, high blood pressure has not really been on that list. If the child had a history of high blood pressure, a stroke would be more likely from weakening of arteries in the brain than anything clotting related. The COVID vaccine thing may be a long shot in other cases. But in this case it really doesn’t fit. Plus you don’t even know her vaccination status. So that’s a really big leap.
Again, if you want to argue that the vaccine requirement was unfounded and violated the rights of Americans with a vaccine that was still in the experimental stage, oh I’m right there with ya.

You DID NOT ASK! You Bet us that she had the Covid Vaccine. There was 0 reason for that to even be mentioned. And.... when we thought you couldn't get any dumber, you doubled down and mentioned the vaccine and / or the government in 3 of the 5 paragraphs and alluded to them in 1 of 5 paragraphs of your latest post.
As Bucky said above. Most of us on this board probably have very similar feelings about the Covid Vaccine. But you bringing it up with zero knowledge of what happened is just dumb, and disrespectful to the little girl and her family.

Curly is a consistent positive contributor here. I have a lot of friends who get hung up on this issue nonstop. He said his peace. Others are actually prolonging the subject at this point.
