We are heading to Vegas Fling in 3 weeks, then headed to TX. This is our plan as of now but I am sure I am missing some tracks or races. Our plan is to be gone no longer than 6 weeks-ish. The big gap is the first weekend after Fling. I also don't want to do more than one week long race and already going to Vegas Fling.

Any suggestions for a TX race if I don't go to London, KY or the weekend after the Fling? I grew up in Lexington so I know April is usually the rainiest month of the year.

Fling March 23-27

Head to Sherman,TX after Fling. Park trailer at Sunset and stay in RV park next door.

Possibly heading to London, KY for the KY Spring Nationals April 8-11. I grew up in Lexington, KY so would like to do this race weather permitting.

If London is a no-go then probably do Bracket Race at I-30 track in Caddo Mills to prepare for the Spring training 20-25-20 race the following weekend.

Spring Training Caddo Mills, TX Apr 16-18

Fat Boy Mafia race at XRP in Ferris, TX Apr 22-24

Head home unless there in another good weekend bracket race the following weekend not much more than a 2 day drive away.

Don’t bring the car, but go check out Yello Belly some night.

I was there a few Saturdays ago. Pretty interesting!

We were 5 northern bracket racers with an entire day to kill in the DFW. An open track seemed like a good thing to do, and it was interesting!

We did get asked if we were FBI agents on the way in.

It was the crazy that made it fun!

Brave folks heading to the YB for a little "shootout action". Almost like going to "The Creek" when it was open.

Ardmore Dragway is also racing April 3rd, normal points race. It is about an hour from Sunset, like Sammy said the Windmill's would be your go-to race the weekend after the Fat Boy Mafia race.

I saw that. Do you know what their bracket program is? Double entries? Friday night track prep?

Track prep is good you shouldn't have any issue.

Electronics and Footbrake same format. No doubles. $1000/win $60 entry/$30 buyback 1 round only.

They have a separate eliminator called green eliminator starting after 3rd round of main race, you can run in it whether you are in or out of the main race.

Electronics $100 entry, $2000 to win.
Footbrake $50 entry, $1000 to win.

I just booked our RV spot in Durant OK at the Choctaw casino. We may skip Ardmore and just enjoy some warm weather by the pool with a ****tail or 3.
