What Stupid people do not realize is Nothing is Free. If you give someone "Free Food", "Free Housing" "Free Transportation" That will have to raise Taxes on everyone.
Also to demand a $30 an hour Minimum Wage is crazy, that means everything will have to go up or businesses go out of business. Who wants to pay $35 for a Hamburger? $19 for Fries? Demand $30 an hour Minimum wage and that is exactly what will happen and rich get richer and poor get shafted.
His plan to limit how much big business and CEO's etc can make will run those out of state.

I was initially against Trump's attempt to nuke the filibuster but am now having second thoughts. It goes against the checks and balances our forefathers put in place. Presidents before him have wanted to do it, those in power at the time always want to do it. Our country has drifted so far away from the constitution it may be time to make the move. If they don't do it the next 3.5 years will be a nothing burger and the repubs will lose to the dims. And they will do it on day 1 and off they go. What's your thoughts?

Socialism/Communism is popular when a majority of voters (And not necessarily Citizens) don't work for a living.
"Free" attracts votes, unfortunately for the working folks it's usually followed with bankruptcy. Then everyone is $krewed.
Mandami obviously didn't stay in school long enough to attend that (The bankruptcy part) of the class.
He also never had to work for a living. Living off Mom and Dad isn't a job.

ME!I worked most of my life. Accumulated a little and retired at 60 with zero debt and some valuable assets. Thats 25 years ago. Medical seems to be one of our biggest expenses at this age BUT---the VA takes care of me and Mama is covered by govt insurance after 37 years working for our country + we for some reason have a medicare advantage plan we never use. So is it free or did we earn this? Not worth me getting worked up about--life for us goes on.

You are absolutely right. America is in a bad position and held hostage to Democrats. One thing about the Democrats they stand together and vote along party lines. Notice every single day they have Democrat talking points and all of the Congressmen and Media is saying the talking points over and over. Yesterday they all were saying it is the Trump shutdown. Fact is 14 times they have voted to keep Government open as is until further solution is negotiated. Every Republican except for Rand Paul voted to keep Government funded. All Democrats except 2 voted to shut Government down. Yet they blame Trump for Shut down and Stupid people believe them.
Anyone with ANY common sense can see those who voted to shut Government down are the ones responsible for the shut down. The Democrats are demanding they bring back and fund ObamaCare and 1.3 TRILLION dollars of free stuff for ILLEGAL ALIENS. They want to undo the Big Beautiful Bill they passed in July. I think the Big Beautiful Bill was passed by simple Majority. Funding bills require 60 votes. So the Democrats could not stop the BBB by law but are using the Funding bill to Blackmail America to undo the bill. Who is being unreasonable here?
Conservatives are the working class paying all the taxes, the Liberals are wanting all the free stuff and our Government is already heading for disaster with our Deficit.

The House has been on vacation for about 6 weeks.
The only one of them that it seems has actually talked with the people back home that elected them during that time is Marjorie Taylor Greene.
