I didn't see it explain how it works?

329LIm assuming Compulink isnt going to completely explain how it works, because that would give the designer of said cheating devices a chance to figure out how to combat the trees protection

Hmmm, this is like government work. Trust us.
I want to see the gadget(s)
I want to know who's been using the gadget(s)
or the gadget(s) doesn't exist.
Period.
You seem really upset that people are trying to address this issue.

TomRSounds like Compulink found a way to make some money playing off peoples fears. The new "defender" update, lol.
Kind of like big pharma making money off vaccines.

DLRI for one believe tree reading devices are certainly possible. Just look at Tesla and their ability to detect stop light colors. I do know this compulink thing has been a couple of years in development and happy to see it will be used.
Big money races will always draw people that will do anything to win in any way possible.

CURTIS REEDVery few will upgrade because it hasn't been publicly proven someone is able to do it. I have no dog in a delay box fight but good luck getting tracks to buy an update.

nor should he.

1320racerwhy? IF there are tree reading devices in use now, those that built them know more about this technology than Brockmeyer and everyone else for that matter. NOTHING will change, not the rumors nor the winners.

I could care less if he makes money on this. As long as piece garbage cheaters aren't able to steel from me and my buddies who have put their hard earned money into their racing.

1320racerscott how would you react if these piece garbage cheaters were some of your buddies? Remember the families of murders, rapist and child molesters still love them.
My point IF a well known winning race was exposed as a cheater, his close friends will still remain his close friends and as a reminded, NOTHING happened to the "dirty dozen"
Madoff fuc'd EVERYBODY including family and close friends.
IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY!

I would unfriend them for life and I would hope sanctioning bodies, promoters and track operators would ban them for life. What would you do?
February 10, 2023, 11:11 AM
1320racerit would depend on who it was.

I Hate DragstersThe advancements made in vision systems in recent years...it undoubtedly won't take long for someone to figure a way around this.
February 10, 2023, 11:22 AM
HolytownWith no explanation of how it works, the "defender" statement doesn't hold any water. Everyone is just taking someone else's word that it fixes an issue.
Beyond that, if it is not a free update for an already existing compulink system, what track manager is going to spend the money on it, when they've never caught a cheater?

Upset?? Dude, I'm LMAO at all the losers looking for reasons they are losers, other than just sucking at drag racing.
I'll say it again, show me the gadgets, and prove someone is using it, or they just don't exist.
I spent 10 years in the tower, watched some of the biggest names in bracket racing being just as human as the rest of us.

Not upset but you've posted on this about 20 times. Got it. BY your logic, I guess we shouldn't have election laws either, since there's no evidence anybody ever actually tipped an election one way or the other.
