That’s the dumbest response I’ve ever heard. The test is administered by a 3rd party wtf does an “official” have to do with any of it.

Seriously reaching right there man.

Who hires the third party? > The official.

That's what it has to do with the official.

How many suspect calls have we seen in the NFL?

How many officials were subjected to a polygraph?

If there's a possibility of taking a lot of money away from competitors on one polygraph, it isn't working just because nobody has been found to be cheating, with the threat / existence of the polygraph.

That's your logic.

Now consider how that logic could be used against you, by someone who understands your logic.

Ok, give a brief description or long, of how you presume a polygraph is proven and working, as claimed.

Sounds to me like cover for putting the winnings $$$ in the pockets of whoever is chosen.

Unless everyone including the officials, are given a polygraph, as I originally said.

Im not going to go round and round with you on this. Major Organizations who pay out large sums of money for competitions use this method. It curtails cheating and levels the playing field.

Have a nice day Mike....Im out.

From large organizations comes large amounts of mass hypnosis, the equivalent mass psychosis.

Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty according to Evidence.

If you're gonna turn that around and presume everyone guilty until proven innocent.

The same rule apply's for the officials.

It's called rule of law.

It was so dumb, he skipped out on the explanation of how polygraphs are proven to work.

Once he considered it.

The mass man is so easily fooled, it's incredible.

These are the officials, you can trust them.

But you're arguing now, while skipping out on an explanation of how polygraphs are proven to work as a preventative, just because officials putting on the polygraph, haven't found anyone cheating yet.

Sounds to me like a good cover, considering your logic it's now proven to work.

The competitors would need to bring in their own polygraph test for the officials, for it to be proven to work.

If it's big money.

Common sense.

We can't trust officials, have we not learned this YET?

Power tends to corrupt; Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

If you can't trust a competitor for fair play with a $$$ million dollars or two, is it the name tag or T- shirt which says Official on it, that makes you trust the official when the same identical temptation exists?

Only the official has an easier path to expedite the same proposition under the ruse of trusted authority.

Obviously, some of you guys really believe there are people currently cheating and it would make sense some are, do you think there's more than one ?? Different technology being used ?? Any actual proof ?? All top bulb stuff or footbrakers too ???

I like the polygragh idea and shooters idea would sent ripples for sure …………..

Boat Captain was drunk supposedly. Dude wiggled his way out of paying, all he did.

Some people get funny when it comes to money.

Yeah, worked real well for him, loophole (Excuses).

Fish wasn't even mounted, they had no idea they were winners of big money.

The ruse of the trusted official.

A polygraph relies on self guilt. The rules on big money races aren't specified to the level required to self guilt yourself on a question used in the fishing link.

"Did you commit any tournament violations?". Well, as long as it's not "slew rate or down track timers", then someone using a tree reader isn't lying.

George Costanza said it best, "it's not a lie if you believe it", regardless of the ethics or morals most of us follow.
