20 year's ago people still respected other people, was not like it is today !

That's what comes from people hiding behind a keyboard. I don't think the new $1000. iPhone is going to do much to improve that.

The choices seem to be put up with it or don't. Scott doesn't seem to mind.

This wasn't specifically about ED. I was truly curious if anyone had spoken or been in contact with some of the missing contributors as to why they were gone. Some I miss for their technical offerings.

If it really is ED for most of them, then so be it there is nothing I can do about it.

Some people do figure out that we waste a lot of time on here and move away from the keyboard.

Flippy lives not far from here. I haven't seen him at any race track in years.

For those from out west,

Demon Chick
Carl Hagen
Paul Nero
Ethan
and can't forget "Lightfoot"

I know there are several others but those are the first ones that just popped up in the old memory bank

Me and Eathon got along pretty good in the past. He decided to go dirt track racing a few years ago so I guess he don't need no "Drag Race Results" any more.

When Eathon showed up at my house with two tall boy Natty Lights, I knew he was a true southerner trapped on the west coast!

Joe[/QUOTE As it was already mentioned Eathon is busy going in circles and fixing a damaged car every week. Paul is busy trying to win a National Championship in T/D and currently is sitting second in points. We will be working on that this weekend. Hopefully he can get it done or else we will be off to Dallas next month. Vicky(Demon Chick) has been quiet on all forums.

That's right Mikey. That's the same trip I met him on. Pitted with him at Pageland, gave him one of my hats, then mailed him another when that one wore out. Dam good guy right there.

Moe,
Tell Paul I said Hi and best of luck this weekend. Have not seen him in a while. Always enjoyed racing with him and his dad.

There are a lot of folks that I miss on DRR, but the three that stand out the most are:

In no particular order:

Steve Taylor
Steve Oldani
Scott Smith

I stay away from a post once it becomes vitriolic, I prefer to become involved with subjects/topics that are technical. I tend to learn more with my mouth closed and my ears and mind open.

There are a lot of very smart folks on this web site, I have a great deal of respect for all of them.

A lot of online stuff has gone to Facebook, including racetracks and manufacturers who have closed up websites. Sometimes it is hard to find race results from certain events. People want instant news so they go to FB or Twitter to get it and give opinions. Plus it is simple to post photos and videos on FB. I fear that this bird will eventually come to roost, much like Photobucket did.

Hookdaddy checked in recently. I think he is enjoying retirement. Stanman I haven't seen in quite a while.
