Just saw a Facebook post where a guy made 53 runs in one weekend.I guess if you double enter and buyback and win alot, you can make quite a few runs.
Who has made the most runs ever at an event held on one weekend?

Of racers on this site competing in a large purse event I’d bet it is Chris Gulitti.

We went to a three day jr race once that had several races each day. We got in every damn one of them and won a few of them. It was hot and humid. I don’t know how many it was anymore. But we changed oil between races each day. I thought it was high 40’s. We all slept well Sunday night.

Daddas was the one that made 53 Runs at the 4 day race at St Louis.

Pretty impressive. Even though he was double entered every day that's still an average of just over 6 passes per entry per day.

41 laps for me at the fling in Vegas this year. Marco Abruzzi made 40 in my other dragster the same weekend. 81 laps total on the 2 cars in my trailer that weekend.

My son Cory has made that many and more multiple times in the last 5 years.

34 in my S-10 at a three-day race, doubled. 16 in one-day. Other than it takes a lot of water to keep my old body hydrated, love those kind of weekends!!

Are we talking 2 day weekend, or one of these 5 day multi race events?

For me, 34 runs In 2 days in a 7.00 1/4 mile car.

Mid 30's at a Friday-Sunday race. Fortunately, the temp was in the 40's, which made doubling easy.

Most ever in single day was 27 passes. Double race day running both classes. Lost in final round of both nobox races, went some rounds in box. 6 time runs and 21 competition runs.

Heat never issue in either engine or th400. That was on pump gas, leaving at 5500 rpm off converter. Pulled engine apart in 2019 after running it from 2011 to 19, only significant wear was ring gaps went from .022-.023 to over .055 with skinny rings.

I miss the wheelies from 3 speed, glide has better consistentcy but far more relaxed ride in 7.1x to 7.2x range.

You must get a good number of cars at your home track!

I did almost 60,
won a gamblers race Thursday, Won Friday and was doubled until the 1/4's, won shootout friday night, won Saturday and was doubled to 1/8ths, won the shootout that night and was doubled to semi's on Sunday and runner-up'd. all 9 round races except the 32 car shootouts.

The best weekend of racing in my life, have done a lot of going to multiple finals in my life but this was crazy, in 6 finals in one weekend. And yes, some said I was cheating but my car was too simple, just put 4.82 on it all weekend long and there ya have the rest of the story.

We do. Typically every bracket class that's run for points goes 7 rounds. Street Bike will go 5 or 6 usually without buybacks as well.
