This year’s American Race Cars Shootout will take place Saturday night, September 8 following the $50,000-to-win main event at the Great American Bracket Race at Memphis International Raceway. The format is the same as in year’s past:
• 32 cars
• $1,000 Entry Fee
• No Buybacks
• Winner gets a new 2018 American Race Cars Swing Arm Dragster chassis w/ the following bolt-ons:
o Powdercoated Chassis
o Ron Davis Radiator/Fan/Shroud
o Ohlins Shock
o Moser Aluminum 3rd Member
o Moser 40-spline Axles
o Moser Pro Drag Brakes
o Auto Meter Ultimate DL Tachometer
o Auto Meter gauges
o K&R Pro Cube Delay Box
o K&R Severe Duty Switch Panel
o Weld Racing Wheels (16 x 16 Rear, non bead-lock)
o M/T Slicks and front runners
o $27,000+ value
• Runner-Up gets $3,000 cash
• Each semi-finalists gets their entry back: $1,000 cash

We’ll accept the first 32 entries, here’s how it’ll work…
1. Comment below or text me at 256-679-8328 that you’d like a spot. We’ll put the first 32 plus 15 alternates on the list.
2. After that commitment, you have 10 days to pay the $1,000 entry. You can pay via check (address below) or call the number above w/ a credit card. Make check payable to:

As most of you know, the The Great American Bracket Race & All State and Dream Team Challenge has been rescheduled to November 16-18 at Memphis International Raceway. On that date, we will host the 10th annual American Race Cars Dragster Shootout!

From the original entry list, I've had a handful of drivers inform me that they will not be able to make the new date. Of this list, I also have checks from several entrants. I have not deposited any of these checks. If you pre-entered via check and know that you won't be able to make the November date let me know: I'll return and/or void your check. If you're still planning on coming, that's cool: I'll just hold those checks until November 1.

With all that said, if you're now planning to come to Memphis for the event and you'd like a spot in the dragster race, please shoot me a text message (256-679-8328) or comment below.
