The ones I've been using don't require a connection. I used to have a PC program called "Black Book" and I really liked it. |

I figured,by now, that tracks would eliminate time slips and tell you to go online and see what you ran. |

| I am not worrying about WiFi at the track. Heck I would settle for a speaker system that works and or radio that works so you can hear when they call you. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/"Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge. Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue. 4X NE2 CHAMPION. 2020 TDRA NE2 Champion |

| I'll stick with a pen and a log book. I'm with Curly, have a PA or radio system that works and a timing system that works with a printer where I can read the time slip and have all of the incremental times and I'm good. |

One thing you can hang your hat on is programs and especially phone apps will come and go like the weather. So your formats and specific info will forever be in a state of flux and very hard to compare. I do like the go on line for your time slip concept.
