Does anyone know anyone, who knows anyone, that might be working at the GM HD Truck assembly plant? I'd just like to find out if they are actually open and running trucks out the door. If you drive by are there cars in the parking lot? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Goob,

What plant is it? I don't believe I have ever heard of a "HD" plant.

Your truck probably gets moved behind all the business account trucks that they assemble. There are probably hundreds of thousands of white HD trucks on order.
There is a pretty large Chevrolet dealership a mile from my house and they have very, very few pick ups on the lot. Larger trucks like would be a box van they have some of though.

I feel your pain on waiting on a vehicle! We ordered a Ford Maverick back in early August 2021. Still nothing...

I thought GM wasn't building anymore 2500 and up trucks this year. Parts supply and they shutout down was what I heard?
The plant did shut down during the Kanadian trucker thing, and there was a stop sale on a crapload of Duramax trucks, because of an engine hydrolocking issue.
Makes me wonder why they don't just go ahead and build my stripped down, trailer park, 2WD gasoline dually. It ain't got as many parts as them other ones....
I don't think the plant actually exists. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Goob,

Junk or not, they have them in stock. Me I couldn’t care any less, I ain’t the one waiting for a year with no build date and I only buy GMC.

Not been a year since Jan. 22, but it's your world....
Second point, the Chevrolet trucks are so ugly they couldn't pay me to let it sit in my driveway, and I'll guarantee they don't have my build, or anything close, in stock, ANYWHERE.
