WASHINGTON - With the economy the No. 1 issue just eight weeks from Election Day, majority-party Democrats are trying to push a second stimulus package through Congress to follow the tax rebate checks sent out earlier this year.


So far, Republicans aren't joining the march, echoing the reservations expressed by presidential nominee John McCain and the White House.

Pressure is building for lawmakers to do something — anything, perhaps.

Democratic leaders plan to forge ahead with a $50 billion stimulus package in the short time Congress will be in session between now and the election

According to polling over 1/3 of democrats have negative feelings towards blacks? How can that be when they are so forward thinking and enlightened?

It turns out the Republicans in ohio aren't the only corrupt politicians!
In Cuyahoga county the FBI raided the offices of two county commissioners in July, ONE THE DEMOCRATIC COUNTY CHAIRMAN, looking for evidence of accepting bribes. Now it would appear to me that one of these rats must have rolled over to save himself because now the FBI has raided the chambers of two judges in the county.
All socialist donkies, the old story of "bigger fish" seems to be in play here!
