I believe, and there is no way for me to prove this, but I believe that if the Wall was FREE, Democrats would oppose it. Especially if Trump was proposing it. Trump Mania.
What makes Americans safer? Why would they be against it at any reasonable price? We can poke holes in the idea of a wall being a better way to protect our country. But who can argue that it isn't better than what we have? Certainly we can use drones and sensors and what not. But using a wall as an anchor for all of these things, and a way to buy our human protection some time to get there when threats are detected, would greatly increase our security.

Frankly, the leadership they have north of the border with Trudork makes me think a second wall should be on our wish list too.

It's globalism at it's finest. Fact is the horse is already out of the barn. Cruz got 50.8% vs. o'rourke's 48.3% (about 215k votes). And o'rourke is a admitted socialist in the once bastion of republicans in the state of Texas. Everyday there are thousands of illegals turning 18 yo and thousands of conventional conservative baby boomers dying. Too little too late I am afraid, but hope I'm wrong. I can only call it like I see it.

Well maybe. But maybe then only the most desperate will dare make the trip. The ones we really don't want coming in the first place. We put border patrol at risk every night guarding an unguardable border. They need more than bullets.

LOL..

I bought a BAE headed hemi quit a ways back for the door car. Then decided the chassis would not be stiff enough, plus didn't like the 4 link set up (bars are 28 inches long). So I decided to build a new double rail chassis.
Bought the dragster just to keep racing and I have been having fun with it, keep pushing new chassis to the side. It's been sitting on the jig for as long as I've had the dragster..lol

"Trump Mania"

This is a pretty good video from Campus Reform where they question students on their feelings about the border.

After establishing their hatred for the border, the interviewer reads them a few “Trump” quotes and they react.

Then they find out who really said them and their reactions are priceless........

It would just be nice to see something actually get done and agreed to instead of kicking this can even further down the road. Trump already has been told by Democrats that they will not cooperate with him on anything, particularly the wall. That just isn't right, nor the way leading our country can be led. So yes, he is using the shutdown to insist that the Democrats come to the table and negotiate in good faith. So they demonize him for that too. He has been very flexible (more than I am comfortable with) about the give part of this negotiation. The Democrats will have nothing of it. When we talk about Washington not being able to get things done,,,to come together on anything....this is what it is about. He wants a short meeting of genuine negotiations. And the shutdown can be over.

Well said Bucky! Here's my answer to the shut down. The President should issue an Executive Order from this day forward, all Senators have a 8 year term limit along with age limits of 65, see how fast they build that wall!! Oh yea and they must pay for and use the same health care we do!

Their a-holes are still puckering from the Clinton (you should have picked a better representative) defeat. They can’t get over it. Just like our voting system, they don’t like the outcome so let’s change the rules. I hope Trump does what he promised. Looking at Ma & Pa Kettle photo last week cracked me up! I would not be surprised to see Ca try and separate from the Union.. ok my BP is up... out to work now... race stuff...
