Bob, it just amazes me how some of these clowns keep calling themselves conservative. These are all the same people who backed republicans and then followed the neoconservative movement all while their own messiahs still called themselves republicans. They refuse to call themselves neoconservatives because they still want to consider themselves moral, wholesome, patriotic, god-loving people; yet when it comes down to it, it's actually quite the opposite. They wouldn't know conservative if it slapped them in the face, and a real conservative republican would be ashamed that people like Koski, English, Cutlass and Stanman call themselves conservative. It would be so much easier on them if they would just admit denial and start their own party and distance themselves from the types of people who TRULY believe in what this country was founded on. My prediction is that they will respond tomorrow with name-calling and lies and make everybody believe that only THEY know the true meaning of a conservative.

I've talked about conservatism already in a recent thread. Look it up, I'm not repeating myself. As far as pointing out specific instances, I point them out on a regular basis usually right after you post them. You call yourself a conservative, but you and your DRR buddies have been swinging from Bush's nads for the last eight and a half years. That right there negates your claim of conservative beliefs.

ET2278Liberal and conservative are terms of personal values.
Democrat and republican are terms of political parties.
They do not necessarily go together. While I have conservative values I am not a republican. Not all republicans are conservatives, Not all liberals are democrats. Learning the difference in the two will help alot of the arguing that goes on here.

ET2278I have never seen any "worship" of Bush here. What I have seen is Bush being used as a tool to defend Obama when his policies and "change" are being challenged.
Bush made many mistakes, but his biggest failure was to understand that Cheney and Rumsfeld along with their mouth puppet Rice, flat out lied about WMD to start a war they could profit from. I guess the Libs and Bush have something in common, being duped by someone they believed in who profited at their expense.

WMDs was just one of 6 reasons given for the invasion of Iraq. The press and the most of the country have conveniently forgotten about the other 5!!
