BuckySad that even the Republican party cannot work together enough to agree to repeal even parts of the unsustainable ACA. What many Americans want, and now expect, is simply not affordable in any reasonable manner. But once it is given out (like subsidies) taking it away is terribly unpopular. this is the slippery, one way slope that is giving away the farm.

Canted ValveThe farm is already in receivership. Single payer in the USA is a foregone conclusion. Of course income tax will have to be raised, that and more borrowing. It's not about health care, it's about control. We all know how America yearns to follow in the failed ways of Europe. I assume the following is correct.
"Countries with universal health care include Austria, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom."
