Destroying the Church of Global Warming
Global warming is alive and well in Texas, 11 degrees right now and the wind chill has been below zero since about noon. we will not get above 22 degrees until friday. Man, the earth must really be getting hotter. Blizzard warnings or winter storm warnings for at least 33 states last night.

Steve, If I told you that it was going to be another month before your engine was ready, I KNOW there would be some extremely hot temps in your immediate local proximity.

Just say'in.....There are different ways to stay warm.

Boz, just be glad you don't have cattle to feed and worry about in this weather.

I would hate to be a cow tonight. I don't know how they live through this crap.

The groveling by the state of Texas for electrical power from their affluent southern neighbor, mexico, was all for naught!
Maybe now even some of the duped boob RETARDS will begin to see what the effect of kowtowing to the whackado greenies begets as they shiver in the dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your a dummy Billy. The stupid retards who built the power plants forgot to insulate the water pipes and they froze up. However not too often we have sub 30 degree weather in the whole state at once.

Guess the frozen pipes in Texas are causing the natural gas shortages in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas????????????????????
When the whackado greenies claim the natural gas pipelines froze you'll believe that too?
How about the Shell oil drilling PERMIT that was denied and is holding up drilling in the Arctic for at least a year?
The whackado greenies and their puppets, the socialist dumkies, were cackling in 2001
it'll take ten (10) years to get oil from the field in Alaska!
GUESS WHAT? THE TEN YEARS IS UP, where is the oil?????????????????????

Yea, we are over 100 hours below 22 degrees. We are almost 40 degrees below normal for this time of the year, expect to get snow again Monday and Wednesday. Not supposed to get over 43 for the next 7 days. Average is 57 this time of year. Yep, global warming kicking our butts.

BD, how about the power companies, when the brownouts were required and they were having to pay for the electricity from other sources, it went from $45.60 per KW to $3001.00 per KW, 66 times as high. Now that is something the government should look into, that is what the energy department should be doing. They call that interstate commerce price gouging. But no, they aren't going to touch that but they will tell us we can't drill to bring the price down.

I will personally guarantee that there are NO natural gas shortages in Texas. There may be a problem with delivery to the power plants. Remember, the weather Texas is having is completely unnatural. Oh it gets cold here and there, and I have seen it colder, but Wednesday night into Thursday, EVERY square inch of Texas was below freezing at the same time.

We have a very good system in Texas, as good as anywhere in the world. Most times it is adequate for the general conditions that prevail, but this snap is unusual. Jerry Jones caused it, IMO.

BTW, Boz, in 1982, February, it was below freezing for 28 straight days in my neck of the woods. I busted ice for the cattle to drink for 26 straight days. I lived in a small house, was a newly wed, and we liked to froze to death. (The warmest spot in the house was in bed, if you get my drift.) I was just starting my own business, and we couldn't work much, and times were iffy. My cattle and me and my wife made it through OK.

The coldest I ever saw here was in 1989 when it got to 6 below. I had some calves that were born in that time and their ears froze off along with their tails.

The longest I remember snow and ice on the ground was in the 1987 when it lingered for 15 days.

Are you lying AGAIN or simply spouting stuff you don't know once again?
Funny that there have been numerous stoppages of natural gas delivery at residential abodes in and near El Paso!
By far not the only area of Texas affected!

I reemmber 1982, we went skating on the ponds after a few days, we got about 2 feet of snow in 2 days, shut down everything for over a week.

Dayton,
Has nothing to do with regulation, it has to do with price gouging, there is a difference. Hate to break it to you but that has nothing to do with politics, actually shows that the agencies to regulate interstate commerce won't touch it when that is what they are supposed to do.

Texas preps for frozen Super Bowl

It's been a tough pre-Super Bowl week in Dallas, with snow and ice piling up on and around Cowboy Stadium, where six workers were hurt by falling ice Friday.
