Hearing 2 local track owners present, IHRA, a former racer and a large sponsor of a favorite friday night series are all there. Rumor is no bids on the individual parcels. Looks like the guns are loaded for bidding on the track as a whole.

Shawn PinkertonRumor is a guy named Norm (not Norm Sam to squash that rumor) bought it.
Rumor is.... it will remain a race track!!!
SP... Final confirmation will be when the deal is completed. Until then, this is all second hand info as i am not on the property.

FOX3450I heard it was Norm Fox of Fox's Auto Salvage. Got it for $460K.

BowtiebobbyGood luck to the new owner. Congrats and I do hope to see this track suceed. I am sure that many of the racers that left will return. Looking forward to better days ahead.

Norm Fox of Fox Auto Salvage out of Malvern/Minerva area purchased for $460,000. The gentleman that has been on yellow bullett dropped around $440K and the Tedesco family dropped out around $420K is what was reported.
I believe that the equipment package did not sell that Mr. Fox said he would be looking to purchase new equipment for the track. I think there was some local media coverage so watch the Youngstown stations for or Salem news for more info and stories.
