Shawn PinkertonYUK.... does that mean I should expect to see the Lime Slime pulling up next to Decerbo on Friday night Door Wars?
March 30, 2010, 10:47 AM
mr. yukshawn, yes i suppose i will have to lay down some major numbers for those guys. mr. yuk would give most people a nose bleed at the 60' mark. well what can i say, that limabean is very mean. "POISON POWER TO THE DEATH"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
March 30, 2010, 10:55 AM
CulpK348I think the Lime Slime will probably have to spot Decerbo a tenth or two. The way John has that 5 hp Briggs and Straton humming, man we better watch out.
Half track passes, isnt that what a junior dragster runs? John, are you tangling with the 8 year olds now? Just make sure when you decide to cross over the track to head up the return road that you do not run one of those racers over.
Shawn, is fuel in?

mr. yukah yes, my bowtie foe from east liverpow. how about that rhyme? culp maybe this year when yuk is in the pits running i will let you sit in it and feel the power of the dark side. is it true your superman pal from beloit tows with a ford? hmmmmm, just left marcos shop, had to stop and congrad him on a job well done. he is the man!!!!!!!!!!
March 30, 2010, 11:46 AM
CulpK348Yuk, he is no longer superman....superman would not tow with a Blue Oval so I am a little ashamed to admit that he does. Some folks go astray from time to time. We have entered him into a rehab facility to get his mind right. Not sure what happened, but I blame the tall lanky one for his departure from Bowties, to Blue Smoke. Its like superman is driving around with Lex Luther....instead of Lois Lane.
When I get a chance to sit in the lima bean, do I need to pull the rope to start it and is it self propelled? I would like you to bring it over the house one day, I want to fix a blade to it and cut the grass before it gets too long.
Thanks Shawn.

mr. yukah yes, i leave for a few hours and the trash talking starts. i think superman is going to join the darkside very soon. the tall slanky one is in a world of his own. i just don't think you can handle it, but we'll discuss it. your attitude will be adjusted when you feel the power of the darkside. "POISON POWER RULES"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AndamoGuys, be sure to mind your speed on Rt. 22 from the Rt. 66 interchange to the track. That 9 mile section of road is patrolled heavily and most of the times they're hiding.
March 31, 2010, 05:45 AM
Shawn PinkertonNever understood that stretch of 22. Who the hell puts a traffic light on the bottom of a hill around a corner??? Must be a money maker for them.

Where is there a traffic light at the bottom of a hill around a corner between the track and 66? Now, when you get off the pike from Monroville to Murrysville there are some crappy lights one as soon as you get off the pike and then one not far down the road that are in bad places, especially towing.
Dan is right however, the patrols are heavy in that area, and lately they have been hiding very well. Watch especially the "Liberty Trucking dip" you will pass Climax on the left, begin to watch your speed as they sit on a side street and if you see him/her it's too late.

fast frankWhat new construction going on at PRP?

March 31, 2010, 07:19 AM
Shawn PinkertonMark... that is what I am talking about. From the pike to the track is something like 18 miles. Between the hills and redlights it feels like 118 miles. If we come over this year we got to find an alternate way around!!!!
March 31, 2010, 07:31 AM
mr. yukhey mark, is there an alternative route when you get off the pike?
March 31, 2010, 07:52 AM
Mark RomeoThere are alternatives, however none would really make any sense and would take longer and be even worse. At least all of the construction between the pike and the track is done. It is 4 lane all the way. I don't think it is that bad. It was way way worse when there was construction...downright miserable.
