Tom I think your only real option is to try contact Norm the owner himself because nobody else seems to know anything that is going on out there.No body know who is running the place,what if any improvements are being made or even if the place is going to open for all we know.

I heard from a concrete contractor who did some of the work at QCR last spring the problem is with the septic for the bathroom remodel. Seems the township/county powers that be are giving Norm a hard time with permits or approvals. I'll bet Norm is pissed and wondering if it's worth it anymore. It's a shame if a business can't get any cooperation from govt to grow and thrive.

Not the locals, it was to have been the EPA. But that issue has supposedly been dealt with. Now it's the rainy season again. Can't very well do concrete this time of year and/or in these weather conditions. No one in their right mind would try to do a major improovement in this enviroment.

The track will grow. It will thrive. Just give it a chance. You all saw the improovements this year. Why would anyone think progress would stop?

Scott his distributor isn't 180 out but his motor is in 180 out! Can't you tell when you see the distributor by the radiator instead of by the firewall.

The rumor mill says all the track improvements are approved and a go for the septic for new bathrooms, track replacement, bleachers being moved back and the schedule for next year. Again.. rumor mill.

Would be really nice if you could get a little something on the website since the last post showing the track closed. Any word on a banquet to hand out awards?

The rumor mill also says somebody in a green monza is going to clean house next year at the track winning over 75% of the races held there, again just from the rumor mill.
