Thought the same thing, schedules would probably be nearly impossible to work out though with the remaining season.

Greg is in a no-win situation. Hoping the weather forecast dramatically improves.

Here is hoping this crap moves thru over night and gets it out of the way in the morning. Looks like it may happen that way.

All points racers - bracket final breakdown & tiebreaker reminders
09-14-2015
Here is the bracket final team breakdown:

Mike's Auto Body Top class - 14
Latrobe Auto Group Modified class - 15
B&R Speed Supply Street class - 7
Z&M Cycles Motorcycles class - 2
Silver Mine Coin & Collectible Junior Dragsters 8-11 year olds - 3
Silver Mine Coin & Collectible Junior Dragsters 12-17 year olds - 2
The alternates will be a third bike, and a third 12-17 year old junior dragster. (The alternates will be allowed to time trial, and enter the bonus races even if no one scratches from the qualified team. If a team car breaks beyond repair, and the team is full, the team must use the alternate.)

Bracket finals information is on the link below.
http://www.ihra.com/images/201...for_web_site1-15.pdf

If - and only IF - we do not complete all of first round of eliminations in all classes on Saturday, then we will make up the points day on Sunday. Only Mark Brewer in Street, and Matt Powell in Bike have clinched championships. Rich Zemrose is close in Top. The other classes all have great chases going on, up and down the standings!

Any ties (for first place, for a spot on the bracket finals team) will be broken after the completion of the race.

So why don't we get Show Up points when we support Greg and the track and drag all our junk out there on days like Night of Fire, just hoping to race but knowing that Mother Nature is going to win her round? The racers in point who don't care enough to bother to sit there for hours in the rain should be at a disadvantage in points. Just sayin'

The show up point is for staging first round of eliminations:

Points Structure
1 Point for staging under own power 1st round, 1 Point each round win.
Example– Lose 3rd round you got 3 Points for the day. Win a race day that is 7 rounds you got 8 Points for the day.

Another way to look at it is every racer who says home on a day that rains out before first round actually saves the track money by not being there making time runs using up time that the track isn't making money on, should give those racers a point every time a race rains out before the first round just for that reason.

^^^^^ Banging Head Did the racers not pay to race? so how would that save the track money? The track would make the same amount of $ if it rained out after one TT or if the race was completed.Maybe i am looking at it wrong.
