I have my insurance policy painted and ready to assemble. This block should hold up a lot better then my factory block.

Looks like a little cylinder wall clearancing going on for a stroker engine. Looks GREAT. Do yourself a favor and make sure the main studs are Arp studs. A bunch of World block were sent out with imported junk and guys are having problems with them. Good luck with the new hammer.

Guys, I found a yellow lab wondering around the shop thursday. He's an awesome dog, very friendly and affectionate. He's pretty mellow and gets along well with Schultz, so he's fine around other dogs. He didn't have tags or a chip. I've been trying for two days to reunite him with his family, but to no avail. He appears to be around 4 or 5 years old and is in great shape. If ANYONE would be willing to take him, that would be great. He'd make an awesome christmas present Wink Let me know, thanks.

Tony, I started a thread on Racestud, the dirt racing board to see if anyone there lost a dog, or wants to adopt one.

The dart blocks come with Dart bolts and not studs. I replaced the bolts with ARP studs. Im sticking with the same CI for now but will probably go bigger in the future. My old block has seen better days and if I was getting a new one might as well upgrade. The only thing that sucks is it weighs 90lbs more then the factory one.

I just adopted Diesel a few months back also. It's always good to give a dog a home before looking to buy a puppy.

Green, wait, really....green! Should glow in the dark so light won't be needed at night to work on that engine Mike Wave Tongue

Does look like a nice strong block. Hard to believe your stock block stayed in one piece.

Eric, what breed is Bob? He's a cool looking pup.

Tony, that's awesome you're taking care of the lost pooch. I hope you find the owners or a home.

I love the green lol. I have always done plain old black and I thought red would be too much. I dont care for the blue either. I wanted something different like neon green lol. Believe it or not when I took it apart the factory block looked great. I had to tap the mains or with a hammer and they had no signs of cap walk on the bottom of the caps.

Its a 302 block, 8.2 deck height. It will still be a 347ci, just a dart block. The middle three are splayed.

Mikey,

If that old block is in good shape you should just build a backup budget motor that runs high 11's or so. Just in case, it is still a FORD! jk

I hear you on the red. I did my 351 block red and umm ya that gotta get changed. The aluminum 281 block I think I will just wire brush it and seal outside to keep it looking clean.
