Red or Dead MOPARthe KING OF STREET RACE, am i the only person who is alil confused by the rules???

Rules say:
-Car or Bike MUST BE state inspected
-Car or Bike MUST HAVE current registration
THEN THIS IS THE PART I DONT GET...
OPEN HEADERS ARE ALLOWED?????
how in the hell u gonna say it has to be inspected and registered but yet u can have OPEN HEADERS AND SLICKS ???

So much for it being a street car race...
if they allow open headers and slicks, might as well just call it a foot brake only race...
my very open opinion to these rules...I think its gay...
im sure there will be a ton of cars who arent anywere NEAR legal and yet they will find a way to get inspected and registred...
wonder if they will actually have somebody run tech to check every single car for valid registration and inspection stickers...
basically for those of us who are true street cars and who are completely legal, just gettin shafted?
i wonder if there will be any RAILS there? a set of fake stickers and the delay box pulled out gets u in it sounds like?

this post may seem alil out of line but my opinion is logical...

i guess ill see all u RACECARS there whenever it may happen.

Of course it's ok by me... that's why I said "glad to see you're interested."
Nick, the open headers and slicks ok is a throwback to the old days, of driving in to the track, changing tires (like I do, and so do a bunch others) and dropping the exhaust (like a bunch of others do). The point of the cruise is to eliminate those type of cars who were technically legal (as in, have a sticker) but couldn't actually make a drive. Does that help make more sense?
