The person you want to blame this all on is Barry Barnett. He said some mean mean things about Mother Nature this winter. Then he claimed he would make sweet sweet love to her to make it all up.
Apparently, HE'S DOING IT WRONG!!!

JordanPR22Way to go Barry. I blame you too. U better say sorry and promise to never bad mouth her again.
This will just give more people the chance to come out for the pro mods. Should be a pretty quick day... we will see, all I know is I will be happy as long as bike, and cars too, are going down the track.

Keith B.Unfortunatly while working on the track it started to rain, and it rained hard. We are so very lucky to have some good workers like Louis, Chris and Robert that were out there scrapping like mad to get the track ready to go. The first pro mod to pull in was very frustrated saying this was the seventh week in a row dealing with rain. I'M not going to be able to do what I want to do to the race track but I would'nt let any air out of your tires yet Mikey. I will be there to direct them getting the PRP surface safe and good for everyone to get down it.
Thanks to everybody for wishing me well (including Tony)and we'll see you tomorrow for hopefully some exciting racing. We sure could use it.

Triple Nickel IIFor any PRP point racer...
I see that the track is going to use a win/loss percentage from the first 30 rounds of eliminations to choose the track's 2010 Summit SuperSeries representatives.
Out of curiosity (especially since there was a lot of pro/con discussion back when this was the required selection criteria years ago from IHRA) did this come from a majority vote of the racers or a track management decision?
P.S.
Congrats on finally getting Mother Nature to cooperate with your point opener today. That has been a problem for lot of facilities.

What the hell does it matter much to you anyways? You done at 42 and moving to Pittsburgh? You just post to try to promote 42 and get races from other tracks like QCR, Magnolia and Pacemaker. Keep your nose up Jack's ass and leave people's track alone.

Triple Nickel IIQCRObserver...
Why does my inquiry of PRP racers matter to YOU?
Perhaps you should take some of your own advise and keep your nose out of other people's business.
P.S.
How is that whole "AHRA 2010 Sportsmen Series" program working out for racers?

Glenn and JoanBack to actual PRP Racing....
Last night was the first night of points. The weather was better than perfect, and the track surface was fabulous.
Laurels to Greg and Staff on the card pull for lane assignments - great and fair way to stop duck hunters!!
Lances to whoever tried to please all of the people all of the time and moved the time trial start to 3:00 - first round close to midnight...
All in all, we had a great time at a great track! Just Joan

crazyJoeDevolaThe weather was terrible at the end of the nite with the rainout. I cant believe it! Mother nature hates the racetrack. I do like the later start time though as it helps me out with the work on saturday. We had three more classes added in, and thought the track and its employees did a good job with what they had. Keep up the good and hard work Greg.

momma romeoGreat first race day, mostly. Obviously, frustrating for those who were headed for the final and didn't get to finish up!
I like the new start time. We knew it was going to be a late night with the PPM guys added in. I think the lane pulling method will work when everyone gets used to it. I think it will be much more fair overall.
This Thursday night and Saturday looked okay, last I checked. And, one of my sons pointed out when I complained about the week of rainy weather...most of the days have pretty low probability percentages. Let's just hope it all blows by and Saturday is nice again!
