Ya think we could get 50,000 people into PRP ? I don't think so.

MattCadamoreif we could get an adrl event at our track...it would defiantly put prp on the map. eventually our track is gonna have to step up a lil and get some more stands. but adrl gets major publicity....they get tv coverage also.

Although I've never been-to, seen, or understand the basis of this show, from what I'm told, an episode of
'PINKS' will put more money into the track's money-bag, and is more-likey to convert street-racers to patrons of the track, continuing that cash-flow

The chances of PINKS coming to PRP are much lower than ADRL... plus not to sure I want hot head Rich C coming around i mean look at his website lol.... As for the ADRL, they have great action and really pack the place for every event. I would love to see either of these events come to town but with the slim chance of even getting to race during PINKs, if i am watching I would rather see something we dont see very often and that is extremely fast and wild door cars and motorcycles...
Mr. Obvious I have to say that there is really no need for more than one person to walk around with there shirt off and lathered in vaseline and since Rich Christensen wont be at our track anytime soon and Tony seems to have already taken on that role, I must say you are out of luck... Any plans for the car over the winter?

"I" wouldn't be in-favor of attending an episode of
'PINKS', but simply stating that they are 'supposed' to be very lucrative for the track:
the few times I've seen it while dining at local joints, the show looks-like a complete ego-trip/fuster-cluck, made-for-television quasi-race to me.

Just one of those journalistic pet peeves, but there is no such thing as a "First Annual" anything.
The first event is the "Inaugural" one.
Only when an event occurs for a second year does it qualify as an "Annual" something or other.
P.S.
This looks like a fun event, somewhat following the decade long tradition of the New Year's Day "Hangover Nationals" at Dragway 42.

Mark Romeo"Some people get upset when the “first annual” occurrence of some event is announced, arguing that it doesn’t become annual until it’s been repeated. But “first annual” simply means “the first of what is planned to be an annual series of events”—it’s a fine expression."

After having actually raced at a pinks-all-out this year at MIR. I can confirm that that is exactly what it is like!

ChuckTMy momma always taught me, if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anthing at all. So,
Little bit busy the last couple of days. Here's a shot of Andy Jensen. He went 4.10 in the 1/8th at PRP. He really turned it up at the Shakedown this weekend. 6.26 I believe, in the 1/4. I hope he visits us again next year.

ChuckTJosh Rietscha over Ken Debenderfer ('99 Trans Am). Ken dialed 8.96, lit the red eye, Josh bailed out of the pass. Josh took out Donny Ickes in the semis, Ken had the bye.
