Do a search on eBay, you'll see. Every year they have new cars, or new colors on old cars. They're the bulk of my Christmas ornaments. It's good to be a single guy sometimes.

I'm trying to find them locally rather than ePay or mail order. Target, W-M, KMart, Toys R Us, are all hit and miss.

<Mark Romeo>Ohhh, those are cool. Those would be awesome christmas ornaments...but somehow I'll bet they wouldn't go over so well around here...lol.

Michael DonnellyDid anybody end up going to the Turkey day race at Mason Dixon? Anything happen?
November 20, 2006, 11:51 AM
ChuckTI was wondering the same thing, hoping someone from PRP brought home a winner.

<Mark Romeo>I sure hope the weather there was better than it was here yesterday. Otherwise I doubt there even was a turkey race.
November 20, 2006, 04:10 PM
Kyle ReasbeckRon McClelland and I went down to the turkey race...after they had everybody "drive thru" tech and let prob 15 unsafe 11 sec cars run, they threw me out 1st round for running 9.80's (didnt say a word to me or open my door and look in my car once) and Ron got homered a bit as far a lane choice (long story, .07 difference between the two lanes) but no i'm not bitter..

I left after 1st round but Brian Berg was still in. I hope he cleaned up down there! The weather was marginal, for a half hour it looked like it was going to rain out...
November 20, 2006, 04:43 PM
<Mark Romeo>Is the car not legal to go 9.80? Or too fast for the class?
November 20, 2006, 05:03 PM
Kyle ReasbeckThe car has all the safety stuff, including window net, full cage, trans blanket, the right damper etc and all that stuff the chassis isnt NHRA certified (i dont need it in IHRA). He said it was because i didnt have a neck roll which is a rule i understand but either
a)tell me about it while clicking off two 9sec runs in time trials dont just change my dial while im starting my burnout 1st round
b)enforce all the rules over everyone
maybe i shoulda taken my dad's car down...ok im done bi***ing now..
I think they tossed Mike Fiore (i think thats his name, with the firebird) for no firepants
November 21, 2006, 08:57 AM
ChuckTAnyone else go down? Mike Egan, the Brewers, AJ? M-D is ok, but for me it was just a place to get a last fix in. I didn't care for what they called track prep.
PRP will be open this Saturday for a last test n tune, as long as the weather holds, which it looks like it will currently. I'm hoping to make it out. I put Barry's Quick Fuel carb on, and changed the rear shocks, so I want to see how they work.
Jeff Hahn, I'll be sending you a PM later tonight.

ChuckTI traded emails with Pam. The techs are looking at why the PRP site won't come up, but they're hoping to get that fixed this afternoon.
Saturday is still on for test n tune, and the weather is looking really nice. Woo hoo!

It's tough when the tech contact is in Tennessee and the hosting company is in Minnesota, not to mention the holiday-eve.

Having spent many days and nights at Keystone from the early-'80s thru the mid-'90s, and recalling what the place was like in those days, a 'tip-of-the-cap' is past-due to those who now run PRP, and the improvements they've made:
kinda sad that I recently moved to Florida
(not-really!!!!!
),
with the Bracket Finals coming to my old home-track.
