i know it happens,he has done really well this year so far and definitely proud of him. but sometimes i think he is growing too fast and the boy gets different when girls are around. use to be he thought they were just a pain in the butt, annoying, and wanted them to leave him alone. but now its different. i know i have made alot of mistakes when i was racing, and thats one big reason he is driving and im not, because he is a much better driver than i ever was. and if you doubt me, just ask ryan , he will tell you This message has been edited. Where are the PRP regulars racing this upcoming weekend ? Quaker and Steel Valley are having their regular program. Magnolia stopped racing on Saturdays and they're having regular racing on Sunday. Thompson has diesel drags and regular and possibly a Q16 program. And of course there's always Sunset on both days.

No racing for me. Just another off weekend to do more work on cars.
i only asked him after the run about it and he said he didnt lift, then i downloaded the run and showed him that he lifted a 620 feet, he said it wouldnt happen again, and that was the last time i said anything to him about. i beat myself up alot. but i still remember, he is only 11 lol.

Going to Norwalk Friday to watch qualifying with about 2 dozen other folks. Mmmmmm nitro.... Hoping to get there in time to see Super Stock run, and cheer on the 5-6 racers from around here that will be there. After that, it's family time.

Jeff - Keep the faith...We had the same forecast last weekend and were able to get the racing in.
How about Barry top 5 in Sportsman in Chrysler Classic Points? Wonder if he will make the trip to Norwalk again to try and pull of a Points Series win?

I'm sure Barry is thinking about it. He did it before.

Well, that was kinda sucky. We got there early enough to see most of the first round of Super Stock and the other sportsman classes after that. That was cool, especially seeing the Vette in Super Gas ripping off a 200MPH pass, and the swingset in Super Comp running 216mph. Bummer we didn't get to see nitro, but especially for Barry's dad, his first national event. Think dry thoughts, Barry is taking his son tomorrow for eliminations, and it's his son's first time too. Once I figure out how to download my camera, I'll post an album.

Bob Myers and myself thought if water just started coming through the track either it was going to continue and no more racing or it was going to be a continual interruption so we left just before 5PM. Good call on our part. Hit Summit on the way home and ran into Jeff Noon loading up parts.

We stuck it out. We were wondering if we'd get set on fire from the fireworks like last year. I'm glad they got the event in yesterday. I didn't talk to Barry yet to see how his son liked the show.
