I am wondering, does anyone know anything about these tires?

M/T 34.5/17.0-16
matl. No.
90000000895.

I found them showing in a couple of places but they dont really say much. Just wondering how they might work on a 7.5 second hardtail dragster.

I believe that MT built these for the Nostalgia TF guys.

We run the MT 3197 35x15x16 on our ProCharger TD [6.38 @ 212 MPH] and no traction issues at all.

Hi David, thanks. These tires, a fellow has them for sale at a good price. They have a 4.5 sec diesel truck so they clearly can take the power.

What I ran into last year with some other tires I had, the sidewall had a stiff rib extending 2 or 3 inches from the bead. I noticed, that even at 5 pounds the tire surface was only half touching the track, so the car was trying to grab with maybe 11 inches of tire so they would just shake or spin. My guess is that was because of the sidewall, so I am a bit leary about trying an unknown.

They are about a 3 hour drive from here so I didnt want to drive down to look at them if they were not going to work.

I would call Mike Judson at MT Tires and discuss the tire in question with him: (330) 696-6550

Here is what he recommended for our Top Dragster and we are now on our second set:
Big Bubba: 35x15x16 3197 110” rollout 9000006981

They work great for our 2000HP ProCharger package.

Found out they would be a good tire, but the reason there is no information on them, they are discontinued and those are 6 years old (43-2018). bleah,
