39 cars entered 2 months early whats the bump going to be I am thinking there is a possiblity of 41 cars entered for the event? I am thinking 6.35

Last year the entry list dropped like a rock during the week leading up to the race and we only had 32 cars so no bump.

11.99 should make it.

The DQ's were too quick.

Hell I ran 6.114@233 and was #7 lol. It was defiantly a nice Q16 field for sure

Last year was wack!! Looked crazy fast then everyone disappeared.I have a feeling the way this year is going it may even drop below 32

While watching online, Taylor Wiens went 6.001 in the last qualifying pass and didn't qualify because under 6.10.

Was hoping Brandon Miller could hold on to the bump spot. His father,Dave always came to the big money races at Atco. Nice guy. Hopefully he does well in the All-stars.

If you want to qualify at Indy, you best have a procharger or screw blower.

So now there's no class to run between 8.90 and 6.40....

Top 16 was actually faster last year. Take out William Kruse screw blown Hemi with a lock up converter and I had Top speed of the meet last year at 233.28. I went 235.70 earlier this year. Not bad for a home built chevy

I guess that would take some of the sting away from being #33.

Congrats to Div. 1 for the points championship.

Mike Mendenhall, Santee California (# 26 at 6.235 @ 223) hurt the motor on his first pass due to a bad fuel pump (got the head and badly wounded the piston). Along with Dan Binks they worked on it for two days with very few spare parts. The end result was that in the first round it went under (6.186 on a guess 6.20 dial with a .006 light. Never quit, especially after a 4200 mile round trip tow.

Sucks for Mike to drive all that way just to race another D7 Car but that's the way it goes. Last year I raced a D4 car E1
