Jamie, what are you trying to do exactly... fix your signature link or post a pic in the body of a post? The problem with your pic not showing up within the body is that you are using a link to a php page and not actually an image. Even though the URL string has a ".jpg" at the end of it, if you notice, it is actually a .php page you've referenced. This link says "display the my.php page which calls up the dscf7417.jpg image". So in fact, you're not posting a URL referencing an image file, but rather a php file (type of dynamic page)... so the forum software doesn't know what to do other than to display it as a broken image.
Yeah Justin it makes sense. Now can you tell me how to fix it. The main thing I was trying to do was put it in my signature and I was using imageshack.

first you need to downsize that image, it's going to be way too big to put in a signature. downsize it and then upload to imageshack, then right click on it and go to properties, then grab its full image URL.
Then in your Edit Profile area, in the SIgnature box, you need to input HTML code for displaying an image and the code will look like this:
