Ed. Could you share what weight your trailer carries on the axles and tongue when loaded?

My current trailer carries 6800 on the axles and 1400 on the tongue.

Bruce, I would but have never weighed the trailer fully loaded. Based on my calculations I figure the trailer weighs right around 14,000 lbs. going down the road with 1800 lbs. on the tongue.

I can tell you the trailer empty weighs 6820 lbs. with 907 lbs. on the tongue.

Not this year with the season likely ending before the end of the month and yes the engine is broke, thanks to a rod failure at 52 passes.

Hey Ed
What is the purpose of the small pair of wheels on the driver side, trailer rear inside wall?
Also the drawing showed provisions for a spare trailer tire under the trailer front, yet I see your spare hung on the inside wall. Do you use both, so 2 spares.
Did you every say what the total cost was?
Darn considerate to share the details tks

Paul, the small tires on the roadside wall are for the nose dolly that is right below the wheels.

Not sure what you're looking at but the trailer was not built for a spare below the floor, perhaps you are looking at the roof plan which shows a roof vent.

My dad just ordered his new T&E stacker, definitely won't be just an average white trailer. Air ride, Air brakes, 22.5" wheels, he's super excited. I can't wait to see it. He's hot big plans to go all over the country.
