I have a 4 year old S1600 battery that won’t spin my 1942 Ford tractor ten seconds with slowing down. There’s always one bad apple in the bunch.

I know they have recently updated some of their batteries so maybe the numbers you were calculating from were older numbers? Just as an example, I have the D1600 battery, about 4 or 5 seasons old now, which is 675 CCA and have around 85 min reserve capacity. We just recently put a new D1600 off the shelf from summit in my brothers car and it is now 775 CCA and 96 min reserve capacity. So maybe the numbers they have advertised on the new batteries is a little different than the old ones? Good luck with it however, I know a bunch of people running the S1600 with a lot of success!
