16 V XS for me for the last 9 years, won't ever go back to 12 Volt. I would have a sealed battery no matter what. Just my $.02

Already been 2 parts calls for 16 volt stuff at the OG Million today.

1 for alternator, and 1 for a battery

Probably 300 motorhomes out there with spare 12 volt batteries you could use. Just saying.

If you have to you can replace the 16 volt with a 12 volt if another 16 is not available. Disconnect the alternator and charge between rounds.

Or have an adjustable regulator so you can run either with the turn of the screwdriver....

I have a spare alternator and the Firebird can donate a battery to my dragster if need be.
