To add in on the conversation, 2007 Undercover going 4.70s at 2100 lbs with 35 spline original axles around 1300 passes. So far no issues, but don't want to find out the hard way.
I have Mark Williams "ultimate" axles, the 300m material with the 1 1/8" gun drilled hole. No problem what so ever, about 2000 runs on them.

| so do I, in a 3144 lb. door car that has made over 2000 passes and been 1.17 60 foot.
The MW axles in my Undercover dragster are gun drilled but not sure if they are the 300m alloy. |
