What’s in your tool box?
I admit, I have a pretty good mix of brands, but the SK have always felt the best and held up well. Most in the trade, that exchange paycheck for tools, go with MAC, Snap on or Matco because of the lifetime warranty from the truck. Does Craftsman even do that anymore?

Craftsman still does it at Lowes---I been collecting them for about 70 years now and when they wear out or break I just go get a new one FREE! But they have held up just fine.

All of the lowes around here will swap if it is same tool,if different they will help you as to where to send it.Problem is most of the tools have been totally redesigned in past few years,There ie the out. Don't get me wrong I have cpl tool boxes full of craftsman, most older stuff and the new stuff is not near as good.

Craftsman is now foreign made junk - some in China, some in India. You can still find USA made Craftsman tools, just not new on a shelf. If it doesn't say Made in USA, it ain't.

Organized people are just too lazy to look for their $h!t.

Craftsman is only a name now. Lowes bought the rights to use the name "Craftsman" on products they sell for multiple years.

You can buy Craftsman at Ace Hardware stores also if they have them in your state.

That is not accurate. Stanley/Black & Decker own the Craftsman name and make the tools. Lowe's simply has an agreement to carry them in their stores.

You can expect to see tools made from Black and Decker for Craftsman by the end of 2022 from Fort Worth Texas.

I will buy one of their USA sets as soon as they hit the sales floor.

clearly the craftsman hand tools that have been on the shelfs for at least the last 10 years were forged, machined, treated, plated, assembled and packaged in china. The fit and finish is not only different in appearance from the original, but their function has been compromised to save $ in the manufacturing process. So unless B&D goes back to the original look, feel and function, it will be the same shyt only produced here.
