Where can I find info on King Demon carbs?
Picked up one to go on my new motor, a 1095 (I think? Blue sleeves) alky in very good shape. Just curious if I can convert it back to gas..it’s got black annular booster inserts. Could I swap it to gas by changing metering blocks and boosters?
First thing I’m going to do is get rid of those hideous bowls, put some new Holley or QF bowls on it!
Anyone know? Google has failed me!!

Has all the specs for each fuel in it for all the carbs they manufactured. I have one I used to convert a dirt track carb to drag configuration.

You will need to make some changes, new boosters, metering blocks. The stake tubes for methanol are large, but with the right booster insert may not be an issue. Otherwise you would need to modify some new Holley banjos to fit and use new stake tubes. If you are changing bowls too you are getting close to the cost of a new carb...

I’ve already got bowls and a selection of metering blocks (Holley and quick fuel), so no $ outlay there. All I think i’d have to buy would be boosters and stake pins. IF I did convert it to gas, definitely would do the 2 circuit conversion..what booster and booster insert would work?

Hi Mark, any advice on how to set one up that is a gas one already that never ran right? Or, would you be interested in going through one to make it run good? I bought one about 15 years ago, tried a bunch of changes and never was happy with it and it came off after like a year of frustration. I still have it and am putting a car together for my wife and am thinking of trying to get this one to work again. Let me know, thanks

For a booster insert a BLP 5104 16 hole is a good start. You will need to make a tool to pull the old one out and the new one in without damaging the banjo, if you go the rout of replacing banjos and stake tubes you have to grind the wings off the end of Holley banjos.

Will at minimum it needs metering blocks and the body tapped for t-slot restrictors, I also like to put a better booster in it.
