There is a guy at my track that has a vac. sec. Holley on his footbrake car and it's damn consistent. He uses gas.... no alcohol or E85. I'm curious to know if anybody else out there in footbrake land uses a vac. secondary carb.

1983 my first year bracket racing I was runner up in street with a 780 vacuum secondary. Next year I won the heavy class. No reason they won't work set up properly.

I think Ed Sweringin uses one on his super street car, in div 2.

I used them for several years. Even won a track championship in Footbrake with one. But it was also highly modified, and still not as consistent as a mechanical secondary carb, imho.
