I'm using a System One 35 microns thinking of changing to a Canton 8 microns. Anyone using a Canton 8 microns.

I use Canton...gotta remove end caps on elements and re-seal. They do a crap job. Also, if ur running No bypass (if u are u shouldn’t be) keep eye on element/amount of passes with alky as it will collapse cage in element.

A friends engine had a Canton and he lost that engine from what looked like the filter coming apart. I would never use one. System ones are ok but I have seen the o-ring blow out on a Dyno pull on a Pro Stock engine. Maybe it was loose or cut. Don’t know but it made a mess very quickly.

If it's good enough for Ray/David Barton to install on their COPO and Hemi engines,

it's good enough for me and the reason it's on both my engines for the past 2 seasons.

Thanks for the replies, I have always used System One filters 35 microns. Just wish they had a smaller micron element.

it is and it does.

Before swapping to the K&P filer, I had to modify the mid plate and remove the collector and #1 header tube to change my filter.
