^^^^^^^ The cover (not modified) comes with 7730 Grid. Call MSD for replacement cover if needed.

This mod was done by another here and shared years ago. Not my photo.

That is how I have my cable installed.
I cut a hole in the plastic retainer for the connector.

The other end of the cable sits coiled up just inside a side access door that used to be to get to my 7AL3 chips....

Been like that for years and never a problem....

can they date the data logger recordings by date? or give them a name that makes sense?

I am not always great about downloading everyone into a file. When you want to go back and look at a specific one it becomes confusing. Or am I missing something?

When you download the run you can add a lot of info like Date, track, notes and run number etc and save it to a file if you want to

I download runs after a race and just look them over compared to actual on track numbers and usually delete them....

Yes thanks. Im saying if you didnt it would be nice to be able to see the date and time it was recorded in MSD Grid
