RCI Fuel Cell Cap replacement ?

I have a RCI fuel cell that has a cap mounted on a 30* angled face with 12 bolts. The 3/8” mounting bolt heads inside the tank are recessed from the opening. I would need a box wrench that had a 180* bend to hold the bolts while removing the outside nylon locking nuts. Does anyone make this type of a specialty wrench to perform this task?

Scroll down this page and see if one of these would work. Wouldn't be hard to bend them more.

I made a split ring that had threaded inserts one time.

I switched to a Pro Werks screw on cap when I made my aluminum cell and just installed PEM nuts in the holes of the aluminum. No reaching inside for any reason.

I have wrenches that are open on one end with a swivel socket on the other. My hands don't fit in the opening for the cap.

Those screw on caps are SO MUCH better and the threaded inserts should make it much easier.

We I built the cell for my new truck we went to a larger diameter screw on cap. Makes getting it mounted much easier.

Ended up using an old craftsman 3/8” box wrench and bent it 160* in 3 stages. I was more concerned about snapping it while bending, but it worked out.

I prefer the flush mount cap with 3” opening as it’s on the 30 -45* angle on top of 3 gal cell, and the large opening makes viewing the level while filling to top much easier with old eyes.
