Thanks for the interest. This is a very new button to the market with about 100 of them out there. Craig Bourgeois has had one in his comp eliminator dragster all year this season with very good results. Currently sitting #1 in the world.

I really like the durability of the switch in this button along with the other modification we made from the original JNT button. It's the only slow button using this style of micro switch.

If you have any questions feel free to holler or ask away here.

Thanks for the interest.

I had to original button and it worked really well. A friend of mine is using it now. No reason to buy the XL having the original and I suspect there are many with the same experience. That said my experience with the original was all positive except one thing. The large round washer at the bottom made is impossible to mount on the angle mount that I made so I cut it into a D shape so it would clear. This also keeps it from wanting to rotate the stem. Overall a nice product.

WOW its a friggin button look at em and decide whats best. It's you people that sit in the taco bell drive through for 20 minutes while you phone home and ask if you should get a taco or a chalupa and hold up the entire dadgum line then have the nerve to get pissed when the diesel rig behind ya starts layin on the horn and yellin at ya to hurry your fat ass up. Seen it happen too many times.

Looks like someone didnt get their order right!! I thought this board was actually started for questions just like this, maybe I should just ask the kid at the window his opinion!! Its worth the same as yours!

Anyways I already have the adjustable biondo and the apex button but have had the micro switch fail in the apex. That is why I was asking a question on a bracket racing tech board about a button use in bracket racing!

I'm not a bottom bulb racer, so I do not have any real life experience with any of the slow buttons. But I do know of a new button on the market that guys on the west coast seem to be liking. Do a search for Duran Racing Products Predator button

I have the Just in Time button and when I did my research I felt it was the best one. Still do.
I run an 5.0 Altered that can go red on a .400 (.370?) Pro Tree. I was trying to use it to leave off bottom bulb on a Sportsman .500 tree and it simply would not work.
I feel the Just in Time button (and probably all others) works well killing a little time but the slower it is set the less reliable and consistent it is. It must be horizontal or pointed downward some like mine is. When you use the lighter springs it will "Stick" sometimes and that will always be at worst time. One race I got down to 3 cars and when I released the transbrake button the car did not go anywhere, I let off looked down and it was stuck! I literally reached down and pulled it out. That was with a light spring but not even the lightest spring they have.
I tried a lot of other things in addition to the button to slow reaction down but in the end went back to footbrake for the bracket racing and reaction times got good again.

On my Pro Tree racing I was getting lot of .001 to -.001 all the way down to -.007 lights so now I am using the Just in Time button for it and it has worked really well but I am not killing much at all.

In my opinion for what it is worth the Just in time button will work great if you are going say .030 red off bottom bulb but as you get more than that it becomes less and less consistent and reliable.

I feel the new Just in Time XL button should be a little better because I can see some design improvements but I would think it just makes the window of reliability maybe from .030 to .040?

So I do recommend the buttons and use them but in my opinion them saying it can kill .080 to .100 for new XL is optimistic.

I do think it is a good product and probably the best of them all but still must use it with in its limitations.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Buddy of mine went to a fast food restaurant a few days ago. When the kid asked him what he wanted, he slapped a $10 bill on the counter and said, "Surprise me! I never get what I order anyway!"

But I gotta agree with the point - too many people - usually kids or women (flame on!!!) just don't know how to make up their f'ing mind!

Organized people are just too lazy to look for their $h!t.
