Darndest thing I've ever seen.
Good channel, dude has some smarts.
And he has a long roof race car.

I think he found the exact resonant frequency to dissolve Aluminum. Interesting.

Steve Morris did an interview on dragboss last night where that came up.

He said he had sent them out to be analyzed and it was a material issue, but the manufacture disagrees and stated that material and design was correct that he just exceeded the design and material.

Reading between the lines it sounds like the manufacturer didn't want to acknowledge it was there issue.

It was a good interview.

On their website they said they are running a new alloy or something like that, version 3 I think.....wonder why........

Steve wouldn't have tried them if he was told they weren't right for his application....Vader rods is just trying to save face when he advertised they were stronger than anything else out there and found out the hard way they were junk.

He tried them because his main supplier for rods were way out on delivery date.

In one of his videos he stated that he purchased the disappearing rods because his normal source was considerably backed up and could not supply him on time.

Surprising that this didn't occur on the dyno or one of the previous runs it had made.
It had to be like the old Spintron videos of experimental valvetrain parts vaporizing.

At 5:44 to the right of his fingers is a proximity sensor, what would that be used for?

It's used to control wheelies, if the distance exceeds "X" then timing is pulled, as "x" increases, more timing is pulled.
