Let us know when you make it to the track, my only problem with this beauty is the wiring in the interior could have been clean as the rest of the car... pet peeve of mine...haha

I purchased this 7AL3 used from a guy off of RJ.Those functions do not work with out the added controls. I agree it looks a tad unsightly but it will have to do until I am able to replace it with a good piece. In the future it will be spot on.

If you like and prefer analog, the newer MSD 7330 Black 7al3 is a great ignition purchase. Buy NEW. It comes with a 1 yr warranty.

Yes Sir, you are correct. When I initially decided to build the Sunfire I looked hard at the Little Chief combo but it was completely out of my budget. Stupid Budget

On my initial outing the Sunfire shows that it will be competitive. At the scales the car was a little chubby at 2620 and a tad slower at 6:10 than predicted. So I have already knocked off 85 lbs off the car and trying to get some off the driver as well. When I started this project all local tracks were 1/4 mile so I chose a 456 rear gear. So fast forward many years and everything is 1/8 mile. I just received a new Strange nodular pro case and 514 gear. Hopefully with this and new Hoosiers to replace the 12 year old ones along with strut and shock adjustments we can be a bit quicker. LC

Really impressed how good that body style looks. That thing is very slick. Nice nice job!

Somewhat surprised it weighed that much. Still a very nice car and great build.

Is there a chance I could find out what epoxy was used in my cylinder heads by the color of the epoxy? This one in yellowish with maybe a hint of green. I won't get into why I don't ask the a--hole I bought them from. Thanks for any input.

Very nice build bud. Give Darin Morgan or Brad West (in Arkansas) a call. Chad Spier on here should also be able too help you out very quickly.

Went out to shop this morning and fired up the Sunfire. Man the smell of spent hydrocarbons sure gives me the urge to do my initial maintenance for 2023. Wish all of you many win lights this season and be safe. God Bless America

Beauty, pro build.

I like the bead laid on the china wall, it's a picture into the soul of the build.
