So just for curiosity would a set of single adjustable Afco's be better than a set of double adjustable Viking, QA1, or Strange?

No, if it were my car I would put the Afco DA on it.

I'm very happy with my Viking Crusader double adjustable shocks, both front and rear. Adjustments actually do something and make sense unlike some other shocks I've owned.

I have Viking double adjustable shocks on my ole heap. No complaints here. I did have the fronts revalved to help control bounce on wheelstand. If money was no object, I would use Stantuff shocks.

Everyone has a budget even Ed, so we get it. I would choose the QA-1 doubles before a more expensive single if I had to make a choice. If that would be an option. If not then go with the better single adjustables. JMO

The faster your car is, the more the expensive shocks will shine! The question here becomes do you have the tools to tune them to get that added performance? Many don't.

Whomp, a good driver can win with Gabriel High Jackers in there cars! Not knockin QA1, Just sayin. Wink

You won't make it to 13 Super Pro final rounds on 21 entries in Florida, on a 10" tire with QA1's, Vikings or Afco's. That's a fact based in history / reality, not an opinion.
