With all the post on blowers I was wondering if any are running the small screw blowers. I loved by big old whipple.Heck with half azz tune off funny car and flipping system to match blower discharge. Car was a 5.70 car and that was 20 years ago(damn time fly's).
Seeing around that big SOB was not happening and 140 lbs on top of intake was probably not going to work well and I know me.I sold it about 5 years ago to keep me finding out.

Anybody running one of the little whipple's or similar?

Guess nobody.

These look interesting and with 30 lb boost max even I would not get out of control with adding a lot of boost.

They are very popular with the late model muscle car crowd, especially the Hemi guys.

30 lbs not carried away? Man that's 2-1/2 times the N/A hp or so. If it starts as a 900 n/a setup, that's,....well a lot of power!. Over 2450 anyhow.

Hey when you are use to numbers in 50's on boost 30 is just good self control.Which I don't have and no being able to go above would be same as self control.LOL

I know parts would have to live longer than they did with my old whipple, but it was little bit bigger.LOL

Best thing about screw is. Always the same nothing to wear like teflon stripping. Almost no power loss for drag like a regular blower.
