Just as title says. Found a few broken teeth on the ring gear. Need a new set. What brand does everyone recommend? 5.0x suspended dragster. Has 4.11 in it now. Thinking about going to 4.30.

I would recommend US Gear after using them on my latest install. At the time we put them in, late 2017, they were still made in America on Gleason equipment.

I installed a 4.11 Pro gear set last winter. Into a 9” Ford Moser Al. center. I bought a U.S. gear set and the install was as easy as could be. No issues whatsoever with those gears. Installed them to the pinion depth marked on pinion and got a perfect pattern. Very little runout on backlash. I think I bought them from Moser along with a lot of other parts.

I'd recommend dealing with Quick Performance. Aaron Spitzer works there and is easily to get in touch with. They advertise here, support DRR and stock many of the major brands.

Check them out

Call them, ask for the material certs and find out. Are you sure they are forged and not turned from bar stock then hardened? Hypoid gears can be made either way. At the very least I knew they weren't made in Italy.

Quickperformance is great to deal with. I've never talked to Arron. I deal with a guy named Mike, He bends over backwards to help me everytime I call them. The last gear I got from them was a US Gear but I use their line of gears in alot of cars for customers.

So you don't know either? While I get and enjoy the sarcasm, that is the future for many things. Additive manufacturing can sure speed up one off parts. We use it every day for prototyping parts.
