Ideally lose 50 lbs driver weight, need new belts (going Pro1 this go around I think on both cars), new spark plugs and fresh gas. Maybe upgrade some trans cooler lines and add an alternator to my brothers car also.

New drag slicks this spring, and every spring from now on.
Maybe freshen up the TH350 trans and maybe install a transbrake.
Re-install a much higher stall speed converter that I used to run.
New tie rod ends up front. Check the alignment.
Move the battery to the rear.
Install drag shocks in the front.
Maybe install poly bushings in the front control arms.
Reconfigure the dashboard and gauges some.
New racing harness this season. Again.....
Install some sort of air temperature sensor and gauge in the air cleaner, to monitor the air temp going down the carb, as an experiment.
Maybe invent some type of air ducting system to make the intake air temp more consistent throughout the day.
Move the MSD 6AL box into the cab to keep it cooler.
Install a transmission thermostat.

After 20 years of small tire and last 4 years with too much motor, retarding the timing, and the occasional breaking of 12 bolts gears duirng most inopportune time I decided to half back the corvette and put some big tires under it. Plus I wanted a project. Smile

Going with alpha 1 wheels, S&W chromoly tube half-back frame, chromoly fab 9, Strange Axles, Strange 9inch lightweight 3rd member

Car is ready for the work - just waiting on stuff to start showing up.

Mock up

Hoping to lose 100-200 lbs in process.

Putting a dry sump system on my motor and moving the radiator and fan to the back above the shock on the dragster. Had to make room for the dry sump tank. I will be happy to always have constant oil pressure in the shut down.

TBS 250 blower picked car up nearly 3 tenths and 10 mph. Tested last weekend went from 4.72 at 145 mph to 4.45 at 155mph.

Put skinny Cory in and it went 4.39 at 156!!!

Thanks Spanky! It did everything you said it would. Still has slower pulley on it.

It's the little things that make life easier. I finally added some interior lighting for night life in the lanes. Ignore all the chips I hadn't vacuumed yet.

I put these in.

Also changed out all the fluorescent trailer bulbs to LED.

^^^^ Interesting seeing where the gas pedal is located. You must have long legs. I assume this is considered left steer?

Making the switch from Gasoline to Methonal. Going from Big Bubbas to Little Bubbas.
Taking out the converter built for a 2700 lb door car and replacing it with one built for a 2000 lb dragster. Talk about upsetting the apple cart!
