My efi wiring is a mess from add ons. Time to clean that up a little. New rod bolts and bearings probably. New rings. New valve springs. Lifters have a tight spot so they need to go in for some attention. Need to work on intake fitment as well. New brakes so we can fix the warping problem. I promised myself I would take weight off the car if I took weight off of me. But Thanksgiving has slowed that progress.

Rebuild jr engine as well. Just put a new clutch and headlights on the golf cart, so done with that already.

Thank the family would like a 4 door truck. I didn't plan on spending money there. Extended cab is getting small for us now.

Shawn,
This is my daughter and was taken on November 20th, signing her National Letter of Intent to U Maine. So it all does pay off and is worth it.

We started chasing travel basketball when she was 8 years old. She did the junior dragster deal for four years and basketball just started to take up too much time. It was just like you said, fall ball lead into high school, high school in to travel. Our summers were typically the month of August, and who wants to race when its 95 out.

She played for two Nike EYBL teams, which had us traveling all over the country the past two summers. (VA, KY, IN, IL, LA, NC).

My two cars, motorhome and trailer never left the garage this year. Guess what, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Starting to get things ready now for this upcoming season. Will just have fresh lobster a lot, starting in November for the next four years!

New brake pads and slicks and worked on some wiring. The big deal is I am parking the 3 axel Pace enclosed and bought a 20ft Featherlite open trailer and downsized from a 40ft Winnebago DP to a 36ft DP. Will test this outfit going to West Palm Beach New Years race. 800mi one way.

Fixing some four link bracket issues, machined up new sleeves for my Gold Claw carb and new BLP throttle plate to go from 775 to 975. Working on the wiring to clean it up. New Digital delay shift controller so I can shift on rpm or time, (footbrake car). Adding an ATI SFI glide case. Then just check everything over good. Putting on the Koolverter fan I bought a few years ago so I can run high gear and cool down faster. Adding a heater cartridge to my radiator to preheat the water. Other than that just waiting on racing season to start again.

Hope to have a better year in 2020 than 2019.

Curtis

He is not forced to play these sports. He has tried several sports and activities. He is at an age where he is really starting to define himself and has found a passion for baseball and basketball. As long as he wants to play, as a parent, I will never discourage that opportunity or the lessons that come away from playing in team sports. I would rather wear myself out chasing my kids events than wear myself out trying to chase him out from in front of a video game.

100%

No more racing for me. Sold out back in January.

Got my engine back last week and installed it over the holiday/weekend.

Putting on new slicks and front runners.

Hopefully get to race my car in 2020. I only made 6 passes in my car in 2019. Thankfully, my buddy got me off the couch and let me drive his Valiant wagon in the later part of the year.

As I get older, I find it's getting easier to find excuses to stay home and not race.
