Anybody know who sells carbonfiber valve covers for a SBC? Somebody who is reputable and has been in business for awhile.

Using Brodix 15 degree cylinder heads and want something that doesn't leak and strong enough to support vacuum pump fittings.

Thanks!

K&N used to make them. I'm a dealer for them. I can check on them if your still looking for them.

adv ET 266,

Checked with transman, no luck! Thanks.

Will,

Find out what you can from K&N.

Mike,

Saw that site also. Would like to check another couple of sources before committing.

Just talked to the guy that originaly made them then sold the company to K&N then went to work for them then turned the valve cover thing into a side job of his own again... LOL he has the molds and everything at his shop, he is currently away racing but will be back on monday and will be able to tell me pricing and availability then. This is the guy that started the whole cf valve cover thing and was the supplier to vertually all PS teams when they were leagal. They had vacume at that time in excess of 19" of vacume with no issues.

Just a thought- But why? Steel valve covers are kind of a top end diaper. When something lets loose it helps hold the broken parts at bay. JMO Smile

Carbon ones are rediculously stronger than steel ones could be. Cool and less that half the weight of anything else.

If you're throwing parts through valve covers... you may have some issues, lol.
